The handcrafted terracotta teapot is handmade in the village of Idda Douchene, in the Al Hoceïma province, where pottery has traditionally been the work of women and the knowledge is passed down from mother to daughter. Crafted from locally sourced clay collected near the village, each teapot is shaped using traditional hand-operated pottery wheels and decorated with geometric Amazigh motifs painted with a natural pigment made from a local edible plant. All materials are natural and non-toxic, making it perfectly safe for everyday use. Ideal for preparing and serving herbal teas, infusions, and traditional tea, the terracotta helps preserve natural aromas while providing an authentic tea-drinking experience. Dishwasher safe, each teapot is a unique handcrafted piece that preserves an exceptional Moroccan pottery tradition while supporting the women artisans of Idda Douchene.
