Foul Gnawa (Adzuki Beans) – 500 g

Foul Gnawa, also known as Adzuki beans, is an ancient variety grown in the Chefchaouen region. Similar to Japanese adzuki beans, it is characterized by its small size, tender texture, and rich, distinctive flavor.

Deeply rooted in Moroccan culinary traditions, it has long been a staple in everyday cooking. Its comforting taste evokes slow-cooked, home-style meals passed down through generations.

Grown by local farmers using traditional agricultural methods without chemical fertilizers, it is supported and quality-controlled by the Biosalim Cooperative in Chefchaouen.

Naturally rich in plant-based protein, iron, and fiber, it supports a balanced and nourishing diet. Once cooked, it becomes tender while maintaining structure.

It is ideal for stews, hearty soups, and warm salads, and pairs especially well with onions, tomato sauces, and olive oil.
