Dried Beldi fava beans come from ancient local varieties, naturally smaller in size yet known for their exceptional and distinctive flavor. More rustic than standardized modern varieties, they offer a deeper and more authentic taste.
They are grown in the Chefchaouen region by local farmers using traditional agricultural practices without chemical treatments. The Biosalim Cooperative supervises production, ensures quality control, and manages packaging.
Naturally dried after harvest, they retain their nutritional value. Rich in plant-based protein, fiber, and essential minerals, they are well suited to a balanced and wholesome diet.
Once cooked, they become tender while maintaining structure, making them ideal for traditional soups, stews, purées, or salads.
