The handcrafted terracotta bowl is handmade in the village of Idda Douchene, in the Al Hoceïma province, where pottery has traditionally been the work of women, and the knowledge is passed down from mother to daughter. Crafted from locally sourced clay collected near the village, each bowl is shaped using traditional hand-operated pottery wheels and decorated with geometric Amazigh motifs inspired by ancestral designs. The black decorations are made with a natural vegetable-based pigment prepared from a local edible plant, making the bowl both safe and environmentally friendly. All materials are non-toxic, making it suitable for everyday food use, and it is also dishwasher safe. Every bowl is unique, reflecting exceptional craftsmanship while helping preserve Morocco's cultural heritage and supporting the women artisans of the region.
